This is a product from SoftFlex for stringing beads onto SoftTouch .010 wire. These needles zip right onto Soft Touch wire and make it easy to string beads. SoftTouch needles, however, do much more. The needle eye shaping seems to be flatter than other needles the same size, making it possible to string smaller beads over the needle eye. Most 11/0 beads, many size 12/0 cut beads, Delicas and Japanese 15/0 (previously called 14/0 beads) can be strung with this needle, even going through with the needle more than once. It is a very sturdy needle and those with eye strain, difficulty threading thinner needles or a dexterity deficiency with thinner needles will find these needles very helpful. These needles may not go through every single small bead, but it will go through a large percentage, plus all the larger beads. Those of you who work tight and bend your needles fast will be happy to have a few of these needles on hand.
