All of the Thompson Enamels that we carry are medium temperature, medium expansion enamels for gold, silver, copper, and low carbon steel.

Normal firing temperature range:  1400-1500˚F
Coefficient of expansion:  258-360 cubic expansion

Since color photography cannot accurately
reproduce the true richness and brilliance of these colors,
and since all computers, monitors and browsers display
colors differently, we suggest a pallet of fired samples be made.
